Jollof & Fellowship

Tickets go on sale if enough people say they want to come.

About

Food, music and fellowship, built around jollof and the argument about who makes it best. West African food vendors and chef activations, a community marketplace, family programming through the afternoon, and a music bill running from gospel to Afro-gospel into the evening. The whole thing is organised around the table. Come hungry, come with people, and expect to end up eating next to someone you have not met.

Why this is a Christian event

Table fellowship as a Christian practice, not a theme. The day is built around eating together across churches and nationalities, with gospel and Afro-gospel music, thanksgiving and prayer through the programme, and a deliberate effort to seat strangers together. The point is the hospitality Christians are supposed to be known for, at the scale of a festival.
