About

For everyone who makes and sells food: chefs, CPG founders, restaurateurs, franchise operators, manufacturers, packaging and equipment companies, and hospitality professionals. Tastings and an expo floor alongside the business programme — margins, co-packing, distribution and retail buyers, franchising, and the labour questions nobody in hospitality gets to avoid. Food is the oldest form of hospitality there is. The event is built around that: what generosity looks like when it has to survive a P&L, how you employ people well in an industry known for not doing so, and why feeding someone properly is worth taking seriously as work.

Why this is a Christian event

Hospitality and generosity as the point of the work, not the marketing around it. Sessions address treating staff justly in an industry with a poor record of it, honest sourcing and labelling, feeding people who cannot pay, and running a food business where the pressure to cut corners is constant and the person affected never sees it happen.

Refunds

Your card is not charged while an event is gauging interest or holding reservations. If the event does not reach its target, or oabba cancels it, your reservation is released and you are charged nothing. Once the venue and date are confirmed and your card is charged, you can request a full refund up to 30 days before the event, and a 50% refund up to 7 days before. Inside 7 days tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable — you can pass yours to someone else from your ticket page. If we move the date or the venue after you have been charged, you can have a full refund regardless of timing.
